Came here on a Taco Tuesday 🌮 where tacos are half price when you purchase any drink. Also happened to be Dias de Los Muertos celebration and it was cool to see them getting into the festivities. The fish taco was easily the best of the three types I tried. The fish itself was of generous proportion. Compared that to the beef taco which was a little underwhelming. Wish they had put more beef on that one, and same with the pork taco. I highly recommend the beer on tap, the grumpy Mexican. The IPA is unbelievably full of flavour.

Food quality has gone down 😔 A few years ago, they had legit the BEST burritos ever. The chefs were layering flavour on flavour, elevating each component in the dish. I went again recently and was saddened by the dramatic dip in quality. We ordered one burrito and one plate of nachos and it took no joke, 45 minutes to come out. Everything was cold when we got it so we think it might be been forgotten by the wait staff .. The chips for the nachos were stale and so unpleasant. Unfortunately won't be heading back soon

Like the person before. This place used to be unreal, favourite Mexican place had it 15-20 times. Never again after what we received tonight, literally indescribable. Burrito was still good, but check the photos of some of the other items. Two or three of the taco shells seemingly had mould, with a few of the beef being fat slobs 30% of the entire size of the taco (see photo 2). Worst part was one of the chicken tacos. WHAT IS THAT GREY SLUDGE?! (Photo 1) DID I ORDER FROM THE CHUM BUCKET?? Never seen anything like that in Melbourne- this place should be permanently shut if this is the new norm, borderline reportable if i could be bothered. Do not order for your own safety. Can I get an owner reply for any sort of clarity on this, I would love to come back as I have enjoyed this joint for a long long time.

I've been passing on front of it for so long, I'm so glad I've finally tried it! The place is very nice inside with a courtyard space to also use, so it's bigger than what it looks from the front. The staff is very helpful with explaining everything on the menu. The food is amazingly tasty and the servings are very generous, not like other Mexican places where you don't get a lot of stuffing in your tacos. I'll definitely go again!!

Disappointing. 1. Firstly the music was too loud and with people trying to talk over it, it was almost unbearable. The stools that we sat on were uncomfortable. Felt like being back in Primary School. 2. When we were ordering we contemplated dessert as well but were told out of the 2 desserts they offer they were out of one of them. (The churros.) 3. Considering the prices, the entree of 2 small tacos and the mains that consisted of 3 small tacos were overpriced. (The size was about half the size of a normal taco shell and there was a spice in the entree that overpowered every other flavour.) 4. Yes, it was Saturday night, but the food, (for what it was worth.) Took too long to come out, 35 minutes. Considering some of the other reviews l wasn't impressed.

Dropped by here for lunch on Tuesday with my girlfriend and didn't realise it was Taco Tuesday! I got two tacos, the beef and chicken taco (under $8) and it was good. Lots of filling! Would love to come again for dinner

To say I love it is an understatement. The vibes, the food, the drinks - all are on point! Located just off Hoddle street, this little Mexican joint is hustling and bustling with good vibes. If you get stuck like we did, we recommend going all out and trying the Taco Platter which comes with six tacos of your choice. Also recommend the quesadillas, chicken burrito and a few cheeky margaritas to get your engines going. Lychee one tasted dangerously good Definitely recommend checking this place out!!!
